Meet Dr. Sander
I’m proud to call Wichita home. After graduating high school here, I moved to Kansas City to attend Rockhurst University, where I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology. I went on to complete dental school at the UMKC School of Dentistry, earning my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2013. I then continued my education through UMKC’s competitive 30-month orthodontic residency, where I received my Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, along with a Master’s degree in Craniofacial Sciences in 2015.
Following residency, I spent several years practicing in the Shawnee and Overland Park areas before moving back to Wichita to continue my orthodontic journey. After five wonderful years as a partner in a local practice, I was ready to build something uniquely my own—Sander Orthodontic Arts was born from a desire to combine artistic precision with sincere, patient-centered care in a space that values authenticity, beauty, and balance.
Outside the office, life is full and joyful. My husband John and I met in college and married in 2012. Together, we’re raising four amazing kids—Michael, Henry, Rosalie, and George—who fill our lives with energy, love, and laughter. As a family, we love being outdoors, watching sports and school activities, and exploring everything Wichita has to offer. When I can find a moment to myself, I enjoy reading, catching a great movie or show, and staying connected through volunteer work at our church and school community.
