Orthodontics for Adults, On Your Terms
Many of our patients are adults: some never had braces, some had them years ago and watched their teeth drift, and some simply decided it was time. At Sander Orthodontic Arts in Andover, adult treatment is designed around your work, your family and your sense of style, with options most people will never notice.
Am I too old for orthodontic treatment?
No. Healthy teeth can be moved at any age. What matters is the health of your teeth and gums, and Dr. Sander will check both at your consultation.
What are my options as an adult?
Angel Aligner clear aligners: removable and nearly invisible
Ceramic braces: tooth-colored brackets that blend in
Metal braces: the most efficient choice for some complex cases
Surgical orthodontics: for jaw-level bite issues braces alone can't correct
My teeth shifted after braces as a teen. Can that be fixed?
Often, yes. Teeth naturally move over time, especially without a retainer. Many adults return for a shorter round of treatment to restore their alignment.
Will treatment fit around my job?
That's the goal. We offer early-morning appointments, and aligners can be removed for an important meeting or meal.
Does adult treatment involve other specialists?
Sometimes. If you have crowns, missing teeth or gum concerns, we'll coordinate with your dentist or other specialists so the plan makes sense for your whole mouth.
